Janet and I both studied violin with Marie Endres, a dynamo who taught so much more than just music. We commuted together to rehearsals of the Madison String Sinfonia for years, learned the Bach Double together, performing it with the West High School orchestra. In this photo we're together again, playing at a wedding in the Gates of Heaven Synagogue in Madison.
