Barbara K is an innovative songwriter and expressive singer. She joined forces with Karen, one of the best bass players I've ever worked with to form the core of the band. Karen was a regular jamming partner of Linda's and the two of them were an amazingly solid and inspiring rhythm section. I joined to play lead guitar, fiddle and piano, we recorded some great demos and then the band imploded. Karen went to the west coast, Barbara and her partner Pat McDonald moved to Austin and formed Timbuk 3.
